Eva Mendes has signed on to be the newest face – and body – of PETA's winter anti-fur campaign. The celebrities who have gone nude for PETA, including Alicia Silverstone, Christina Applegate, Kim Basinger and Pamela Anderson, but Mendes is a little more "cheeky" than some of stars who have gone before her, revealing her bare buttocks in the ad.
"There are way too many amazing faux-fur options out there for people to still be wearing real fur," she said. "I want people to know that … killing a poor animal and wearing [its fur] isn't cool. Respecting all life forms is cool."
In a Q&A with PETA, the actress said she hasn't worn fur since her very first movie premiere, when her stylist sent her a fur wrap for the evening and Mendes "ignorantly wore it."
The caption "Fur? I'd rather go naked." I really hope she means that, because a lot of pubic hair is gross.
