The alleged Meg White Sex Tape has caused quite a stir. Meg White of The White Stripes, a band known for their raw low-fidelity sound, appears to have a sex tape blazing up bandwidth on the internet.
White Stripes canceled their remaining tour dates for 2007 last week and it is now widely believed it was due to the release of a leaked sex tape starring drummer, Meg White. The tape, which hit online this weekend, shows a woman who looks like Meg White and an unidentified male having sex in multiple positions. In a statement posted on their website, the band said:
They thank you for your understanding and well wishes. Meg White is suffering from acute anxiety and is unable to travel at this time."

27 Sept Updates : A spokesperson for the White Stripes has told NME.com that the woman in the supposed "Meg White sex tape" that has been circulating around the Internet is definitely not the drummer.
