The trouble star did not appear at a brief hearing in Beverly Hills where she also received a fine of $ 2,000 and announced that she must attend a class on alcohol education program. Mischa Barton was sentenced to three years' probation Thursday after being arrested last December for drunken driving. She was happy because charges for possession of drugs were withdrawn, according to court officials. Her lawyer Anthony Salerno said that "Mischa is happy that the case is finished," adding that the sentence seemed "very fair".
