Carrie Underwood won two awards and Rascal Flatts took home a trophy at the Country Music Association's 41st Annual CMA Awards.
There's nothing minor about Carrie Underwood's CMA night. The "So Small" singer ruled Nashville Wednesday, picking up the female vocalist and also shared single of the year honors with producer Mark Bright for "Before He Cheats."
Underwood, who launched her career on American Idol says in accepting the female vocalist award, "God has blessed me with so many wonderful things in my life, and I will spend my entire life trying to figure out why". "If you had told me a few years ago I would have been nominated with the people that I've been nominated with, I would have called you absolutely insane. ... All the ladies that were nominated, it's a testament to country music and all the great people and the great fans we have."
Beyonce Arrive In Seol
After touching down Thursday at Seol's Incheon Airport, Beyonce earns a sweet welcome from a young fans. The singer, who has been touring Asia, is scheduled to play her first of two concerts in South Korea on Nov. 9.
The concerts, part of the "Beyonce Experience World Tour", will take place at Olympic Park Gymnasium on Friday and Saturday. The performer has brought with her more than 90 tons in equipment for the shows.
