Here's Avril Lavigne performing for a very enthusiastic crowd at the O2 Arena, London yesterday. Avril Lavigne is bringing her best of world tour when she cried her way through two tracks. Apparently to show her appreciation to the fans .
She has sold 28 million records globally and her debut album, Let Go, earned eight Grammy nominations and spawned a string of youth-culture hit singles such as Complicated, Sk8ter Boi and I'm With You.
Avril recently stormed the European MTV awards, winning 'Best Solo Artist' and 'Most Addictive Track' for her smash hit Girlfriend.
The pop star has announced that it will soon launch her first fragrance line in partnership with Procter & Gamble Prestige Products due out in fall 2009. Besides, Lavigne is stepping up her career as a serious thespian with her first starring role.
She tells The London Paper, "I've got a film role coming up - something you wouldn't expect from me, something deep and dark."
It's about time Avril Lavigne gave up the whole "music" thing, and started concentrating on her strength of making cents.
