The life of successful fashion model Ruslana Korshunova was cut short Saturday afternoon (28/06/2008)when the green-eyed stunner took her own life in a desperate plunge from her luxury Manhattan just four days short of her 21st birthday.
Korshunova died moments ago in the Financial District of NYC. No reason is yet clear why she jumped to her death.

Jumping seems like such a painful way to die full of desperation. What i think is she would probably still be in Kazakhstan if she hadn't been so beautiful. I really hope she didn’t do it, this is just sad.

Ruslana Korshunova was born in Almaty, Kazakh SSR on July 2, 1987, so she was just about to celebrate her 21st birthday.
Korshunova had been a rising star in the fashion world, gracing the covers of the European editions of Elle and Vogue and walked the catwalks for designers Betsey Johnson and Jill Stuart. She had unique and alluring look, standing at 5’8” was renowned for her green eyes and unusually long hair. Her measurements were perfect as well, at 33-24-34. In 2003 Debbie Jones of Models 1 discovered her. From that point on Ruslana had a successful career, represented by agencies around the world such as, IMG New York, Paris, and London, Beatrice in Milan, and iCasting in Moscow.
